Owner Andrew Cavaletto hits the World Cup circuit!!!

Scotts Valley Cycle Sport owner, Andrew Cavaletto, has won a bid to race downhill on the U.S. National Team at the final round of the 2009 Nissan UCI World Cup in Schladming, Austria on September 19. This will be Andrew's first World Cup race, so we're super stoked he got the nod to fly the colors (albeit in a relatively lame "team USA" jersey, I'm afraid) and rep the Stars & Stripes across the Pond! Hopefully he can fit his "marbles" into his carry-on, 'cause he's gonna need the biggest pair he can find in that closet of his.

Here's hoping Andrew qualifies so we can tell him everything he did wrong on his race run, from the comfort of our admittedly unqualified perspectives.
You can follow all of the race-day madness live via this link to www.freecaster.tv.

For a quick refresher on the sheer radness that is Schladming, here's Sam Blenksinsop's winning run from 2008
(sans gloves, ladies). Oh, and if you've got sensitive ears in the room you might want to grab a pair of ear muffs because this Kiwi's got a bit of a potty mouth...
